Namaste and Hi from me, Lion. Boy, do I feel silly! I am supposed to be a ferocious beast and here I am calmly sitting, breathing deeply, and sticking my tongue out! But you know what? After I do this, I feel like I can be a better lion! This yoga pose, called The Lion, helps to make me strong and aware. It even keeps my roar loud and clear and my vision keen.
Remember I said this Lion Pose helps my roar? Well, that's because by stretching my tongue way out, it helps to exercise my throat and voice muscles. The muscles in my eyes are also given a good workout...and everyone knows lions are always on the look out. (I won't even go into how this pose strengthens my jaw).
